Class information - Academic Year 2023-24

Dear Parents/Carers

As we draw close to the end of this academic year I am pleased to share with you the information about which teacher will be teaching each class for the coming academic year.

You will notice that some teachers are missing from this list.

Miss Fox will leave us at the end of this academic year for pastures new. I’m sure you will join me in wishing her well, and thank her for all she has given to English Martyrs’ Catholic School during her time with us.

As previously mentioned in the last newsletter - Mrs J Foster will retire at the end of this academic year. We wish her a happy and healthy retirement. 

Mrs Stubbs  will return to school; part-time, following her maternity leave. 

Mrs McCaffrey will be reducing her hours to part-time. 

Mrs Stubbs & Mrs McCaffrey  will teach  Year 4 as part of  a job-share. 

We welcome Miss McKeown back to our English Martyrs’ teaching team.  Miss McKeown was in school as a supply teacher earlier this year. I’m sure you will join me in welcoming her to the family of English Martyrs’

My role as Director of Primary Support within Bishop Bewick Catholic Education Trust will continue, so I will generally not be in school on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. The school will be led by Mr Kennedy on those days.
