Stations of the Nativity

Stations of the Nativity

The Stations of Nativity (Advent) is a new way to pray in preparation for Christmas time.

The stations, as in Lent, are made up from key events in Christ’s life. The Stations of the Nativity focus on the story of Jesus’ Birth.

Each station includes; a passage from scripture, a short mediation and a prayer – as well as a traditional carol from our children.

This helps us to draw our attention to the true spirit and meaning of Christmas.

The stations of the advent can be prayed individually or as small group or family. They may be prayed all in one sitting or each night in the lead up to Christmas and on to the Epiphany.

We hope you find a sense peace and hope through the reflections on the first Christmas.

From all at English Martyrs’ – have a Happy, Holy and safe Christmas.
