World Religion Day 2022
World Religion Day is celebrated every January on the third Sunday of the month. In school, we are going to celebrate World Religion Day on Friday 21st of January. Its aim is to promote understanding and peace between all religions, encouraging people to learn about other faiths and their followers.
How to take part
This year we are asking children to share their experiences of their own religion with members of their class. There will be some World Religion activities in class on Friday afternoon. If your child wants to get involved they could:
- Bring in a photograph or picture that is special to their faith
- Bring in an object that is special to their faith
- Or older children may want to present a PowerPoint about their faith
