Christmas 2020
Christmas 2020 will be a little different this year, but we still want to make sure that our children experience the wonder and excitement of this magical season.
Most of our usual activities and event will still take place, albeit it virtually.

Christmas Cards
Unfortunately, we will not be able to have children bring Christmas cards in for each member of their class.
As an alternative each child can bring in 1 card for their whole class and every child will receive a 'classmade' card to take home.
Christmas gifts for staff.
We are blessed to work at English Martyrs' with families who are always so generous in sending beautiful gifts at Christmas and summer.
At this time of year we realise that family budgets can be strained, this year even more so than usual, so we are asking that no presents are brought in for your child's class teacher this year.
If you would like to thank the staff, a box will be placed beside the outdoor nativity where chocolates or biscuits could be placed, these will then be shared out with ALL staff.
We hope this makes life a little bit easier for everyone as it is one less thing to think about.
Remember, you give us the best gift of all by allowing us to teach your child, God’s gift.
