Return of OPAL September 2022
At English Martyrs', we believe that all children need opportunities to play which allow them to explore, manipulate, experience and affect their environment. We are an OPAL school, we value Outdoor Play and Learning. Therefore OPAL will be returning to school from week beginning Monday 26th September
Please note that during OPAL we encourage children to play outdoors in all weather types and so it is important for your child to bring in wellies and a warm, waterproof coat if they would like to take part, especially as we enter the autumn and winter seasons.
We would also still welcome donations of old wellies, toys, prams, bikes, scooters and suitcases for use in our 'spare part' OPAL areas. As you can see from the video, we can make good use of almost anything!
These can be left beside the big shed, by the middle field or handed in at the office.
If you have anything else that you think you may be able to donate to school, which would enhance our OPAL offer, please do contact the school office.
