Welcome to our Virtual Travelling Crib!
As we cannot send our Travelling Cribs home this year, we would like to invite you to share in our project called ’The virtual Travelling Crib’. The aim is the same; to help us remember the Story of Christmas. Please follow the steps below:
1. Listen to the Christmas Story
To begin, please click on the link "The Virtual Travelling Crib" below to listen to the Christmas Story which helps us to remember the true meaning of Christmas.
2. Try and make some peaceful time to spend in prayer this Advent.
Let us all be thankful for the love, joy, peace and hope that our families, friends and school community give to us.
3. Choose an Activity
Have a try at some of the suggested activities:
* Make the crib and the Holy family.
*Act out the story with your family.
*Put your stable on display where everyone can share in the message that it represents.
Write about your experience of the virtual travelling crib. You could:
Retell the Christmas story either in words or pictures.
Write a prayer about how you have shared love, joy, peace and hope.
Write about what you liked the most about the travelling crib.
Remember, you can help to spread that message of love and joy by sharing
your crib pictures or writing with us so that we can make our own school virtual travelling crib diary.
4. Choose the Travelling Crib Resources
Please use any of the following resources or ideas to make your own Nativity scene at home.
There are templates for Nativity figures, links to how to draw the Nativity characters, templates for writing the Christmas story and ideas on how to make the stable.
We would like to make a virtual travelling crib diary so please take photos and send them to your child's teacher.
