Swimming Lessons
Your child will be going swimming every Friday afternoon to Northumbria Pool, beginning on Friday 19th April 2024, after the Easter holidays, and will travel to the lessons by private coach.
Please note on the day of their lesson your child must come to school dressed in their PE uniform and bring in their swimming kit.
All pupils are expected to attend the swimming lessons as part of the curriculum and can only be excused if a medical note has been received by your child's GP, with a valid reason for not taking part.
Their swimming kit must include the following items:
- a towel
- swimming costume
- girls hair must be tied up
Your child may also bring a swimming cap and goggles if they would like to however this is not a necessity (please note that children will be responsible for looking after their own possessions).
Children will have lunch in school as normal and should be collected as normal from school at the end of the day.
