School Meals
 

Every child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will receive a free hot nutritious school meal as part of the Universal Free School Meals initiative which was introduced in 2014.

You may also wish to apply for benefits related free school meals, and if you qualify you will also receive supermarket vouchers during the school holidays.

Once your child enters into Key Stage 2 (Year 3) you have the choice of your child taking a packed lunch or continuing with school meals.  Please note whatever option you choose this needs to be a weekly pattern, i.e. if you want to change from packed lunch to school meals or vice versa you would need to give school at least 1 week's notice of the change.

Please note if you are not eligible for free school meals and would like your child to have a hot meal you will need to create an online account to pay for your meals weekly in advance.  The current cost for school meals is £11.00 per week.  If money is not credited onto your account in advance you may be contacted by the school office to drop off a packed lunch for your child.

 Packed Lunches

Children in Key Stage 2, Years 3 to 6, may opt to bring a packed lunch to school which are eaten in the Key Stage 2 dining room.

Packed lunches should be in a secure named container/lunch bag.  No sweets are allowed – instead, we encourage lots of fruit, vegetables and healthy snacks. 

Please note we are a nut free school - no nuts of any kind can be brought into school due to the amount of pupils with nut allergies.  This includes nutella based items, and/or any products which contain hazelnuts.

Water is available on all tables for children who choose a packed lunch.  However, your child can bring their own drink in a non-breakable container – no fizzy drinks please.

 

Online payments for school meals and school trips

 

English Martyrs’ has an online payment system which is used to pay for school meals (Year 3 to Year 6). This account is also used to make payments for school trips and fundraisers etc.

 

To use the iPayimpact website you will need:

 

Child Account Ref:  

This will be provided by the school office

Please email office@emcps.co.uk for your child account reference

 To register for an account please go to https://www.ipayimpact.co.uk

o   Click on the Register button

o   Enter the Account Ref (which will be provided by school)

o   Username – enter a username you will remember (this is required each time you login)

o   Email – enter a valid email address

o   Confirm Email – must be the same email address as entered in the previous box

o   Password – enter your own password 

o   Confirm Password – must be the same password as entered in the previous box

o   Maths Test – please insert the answer to the maths question

o   Agree to Terms – Please tick this box.  You can view the terms as required.

 

  • An email will be sent to your chosen email account, please click on the link in the email.  This will ACTIVATE your account and allow you to login using the details you entered during registration.
  •  LOGIN to your account
  •  Update your profile (personal information) and save

 

If you have other children at this school you can link them to your new parental account as follows:

  • LOGIN to your account
  • Click on the Child Accounts tab
  • Click the Link a New Child Account button
  • Enter the Child Account Ref for the child – see this letter or other similar letter
  • Click Find School and Account – select the school from the list (if offered)
  • Click the Link Account button

 HOW TO MAKE A PAYMENT

  • Choose the Fund you want to make payment to
  • Press the Pay Button on the right hand side of the screen enter the Amount to Add and then Save Item in Basket
  • Proceed to Checkout
  • Choose the card you wish to pay with from the dropdown menu
  • You can also setup automatic payments should you wish to do so
  • You will receive an email receipt of your payment once it has been authorised.
