At English Martyrs' Catholic Primary School we follow the Jigsaw PSHE approach to accompany our Ten Ten Living Life to the Full sessions. Central to the ethos of our PSHE curriculum is the belief that supporting our young people today will create compassionate, independent and informed adults of tomorrow. Children learn that we are all unique and that both similarity and difference is worth celebrating.
In a lesson a week for every year group, learning themes are returned to and developed each year through 6 Jigsaw units called Puzzles and 3 Ten Ten LLTF Modules starting with being Me in My World at the beginning of the school year and sequentially progressing through to Dreams and Goals in the last half term. Throughout the PSHE curriculum across the year we take part in Ten Ten lessons which further deepen our understanding of the Catholic faith. Through this scheme we cover our RSE (Relationships and Sex education) requirements.
